May 28, 2021, Members and friends pick up the hanging baskets and planters they ordered several months before, in our NCSA fund raiser.

2019 Shirley Bond's Christmas tea for seniors
December 10, 2019. President Maurice reserved two tables for ten at the tea for people from our senior center. Food, entertainment, and door prizes were all wonderful.

At the October 28, lunch some members came dressed up for a costume contest.
2019 Tour of Lights
December 8, 2019, A city bus picked us up in the parking lot of the College Heights Baptist Church, took us up to the banquet hall on Austin Rd where we were served a lovely dinner. We boarded the bus again for a tour around Prince George to see some of the best Christmas light displays on our ride back to our Senior Centre.
2019 Scrabble Players
There are scrabble games every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to noon, in one of the classrooms. Everyone is welcome.

Dorothy and Les's 70th Wedding Anniversary Celebration
May 27th, 2018, Les and Dorothy's family hosted an open house for their many friends, including those from North Central Seniors.

2017 June Seniors Follies
Three days of fun organized by Howard F. June 19, 21 and 23, 2017. Eric was the big winner again.
Howard is stepping down as Follies organizer. He received a "King of the Follies" trophy and our sincere thanks for all the great ideas he came up with to keep us entertained.
Annual Barbecue, June 23, 2017
Delicious food and great company. The perfect way to wind down after the Follies, before closing the center for the summer.

Seniors Follies, March 2017
Three days of laughter and friendship, March 13, 15 and 17.
Monday:picking up candies by sucking through a drinking straw; Wednesday: answering quizzes about Prince George, British Columbia, and Entertainment; Friday: Table Shuffleboard, and St. Patrick's Day lunch of Irish Stew and shamrock shaped cookies with green sprinkles. What fun!

Three days of friendly competition and laughter. Monday we did a Word Search, Wednesday we played Tiddlywinks, Friday we attempted to twirl hula hoops on our wrists, necks and waists.

Morning Coffee with the Upbeats

The last Friday of each month, Lorraine M. leads us in a sing-along followed by tea and cake. The names of members attending who have a birthday in the current month are entered in a draw for a gift card. The addition of Eric, David and Wendy's musical talent has been making the singing even more enjoyable.

Three days of fun! November 16, 18, & 20, 2015.
Members participated in challenges involving assembling jigsaw puzzles, cupping (stacking cups) and --- . Great prizes and a yummy soup and sandwich lunch on November 20th.
Les and Dorothy's 67th Anniversary!
Celebrating 80+
March 30, 2015 Members who are 80 years and older were treated to turkey with all the trimmings, a celebration cake, flowers, music by the Upbeats, and the good wishes of other members.

2013 Christmas Dinner
December 13, 2013
On a snowy night, members and guests enjoyed a delicious catered dinner. Entertainment was provided by our own fabulous guitarist, Eric, and the drama group from the Elder Citizens Recreation Association. Amid laughter, the Birthday Tea singers led everyone in a geriatric version of "Favourite Things". Door prizes and a "tacky gift" exchange rounded out the evening.

Portrait Lighting Workshop

the NCSA Photo Club had a lighting/ portrait workshop, led by Grant. We had lots of fun experimenting, using various available light sources, reflectors and fixtures for portrait photography.
Paramedic Appreciation Day

Eight paramedics and two supervisors dropped into the centre for light refreshments, our way of saying "Thank you", for the vital services that they provide for our community.
